Legion Manor Victoria opened our Assisted Living suites on September 1, 2006, offering 48 one-bedroom suites in our 68-suite non-smoking building. The remaining 20 units are Subsidized Assisted Living suites funded by the Island Health Authority.
Our thoughtfully designed, bright and open one-bedroom suites feature a private patio or balcony, kitchenette with fridge and microwave, double wide walk-in showers, and for your peace of mind a 24/7 Emergency Response System. Daily lunch and dinner (see our sample menu), weekly light housekeeping with one load of laundry (bedding and towels), hydro and basic cable are included in our monthly rent. Each unit also includes a heat pump for air conditioning in the warmer months. Please contact us for our current monthly rate.
We have many options to support our residents to be active. They have the option of participating in a wide range of recreation programs (see our sample activity calendar) including music therapy programs, fitness classes, art and crafts groups, entertainment, bingo, card games, happy hours, special teas, non-denominational church service, outings to local points of interest and many more events and programs! Our Legion Manor Bus will take residents shopping on a regular basis, out for scenic drives and special outings as well. The Legion Manor Van is available for transportation to medical or dental appointments at a nominal charge. There is also a power scooter available for residents' use, making it easy to get to nearby shopping and appointments.
My aunt is happy to live at Legion Manor. She tells me that she appreciates the staff who make living there so enjoyable, from the daily upkeep and tasty meals to the fun at special events. We appreciate the welcoming smiles as we walk through the manor and our aunt introduces us to staff and fellow residents.
