How do I apply for housing at Legion Manor Victoria?

Is there a waiting list for applications?

Yes - wait list times vary - the sooner you apply the sooner you can move into your new home at Legion Manor Victoria.

Are pets allowed?

Legion Manor Victoria does not allow pets to live with you, however visiting pets are always welcome.

Is there 24 hour staffing or medical care on site?

Legion Manor has a 24/7 emergency response system. We do not provide 24 hour staffing or medical care.

Where are the meals prepared?

All meals are prepared on-site by our Red Seal Chef and his team. Legion Manor Victoria prepares all our meals in our own kitchen. We take pride in using fresh, local food, prepared fresh and to exacting standards by our award winning Red Seal Chef.

Do I have to belong to the Legion or be a Veteran to qualify?

No, our housing is open to all individuals 55 years of age and up. No extra consideration is given if the person applying is a veteran.

Are there any income restrictions?

There is no income ceiling for our Supported Living Suites. Our Independent Living Apartments have a ceiling of $2,200 gross income per month.

Are tours available?

Legion Manor gladly offers tours for prospective residents. Please call in advance to book an appointment so we can arrange a viewing of the style of suite you would like to see. Our phone number is 250-652-3261.

How large are the suites?

All our suites have one bedroom, living room, kitchen and private bathroom. The average size of our suites are 550 square feet.

Is there shopping nearby?

We are located close to the village of Saanichton, where there is a Thrifty's grocery store, medical clinics, pharmacies, financial institutions, restaurants and more. The Saanich Penninsula Hospital is close by and the local transit stops at our front door. (See the transit map below.)

We also provide power scooters that residents can borrow at no charge, and we have a courtesy van to drive you to your doctor or for shopping.
